The initiative focused on equipping Boy Scouts and Girls Guide with necessary training, resources, and uniforms, fostering leadership, discipline, and community engagement in Quetta.
This project was initiated to empower young individuals in Quetta by strengthening the Boy Scouts and Girls Guide programs. With a focus on skill development and capacity building, SOCIO Pakistan collaborated with the World Bank to establish a Skill Development Center at the Special Education Complex on Brewery Road. The center not only provided structured training but also facilitated the distribution of uniforms and necessary equipment, thereby ensuring that 80 young people (40 boys and 40 girls) received comprehensive development opportunities. The project has been instrumental in instilling values of discipline, teamwork, and leadership among the youth, laying the groundwork for future community engagement and empowerment.
