SOCIO Pakistan, funded by UNFPA, launched this project with a budget of PKR 13 Million to address HIV prevention among high-risk groups in Quetta City. The initiative targets female sex workers, MSM, transgender individuals, and injecting drug users by providing health services, awareness campaigns, and essential support.
This project is designed to reduce the spread of HIV & AIDS among vulnerable populations in Quetta City. By setting up dedicated drop-in centers and providing regular training for peer educators, SOCIO Pakistan ensures that key populations receive timely counseling, testing, and medical support. The initiative also distributes essential prevention tools, such as condoms and informational materials, and works closely with local hospitals for seamless referral and care. Through these integrated efforts, the project not only improves health outcomes but also fosters a supportive environment for marginalized groups.
