SOCIO Pakistan, in collaboration with GIZ and RAHA, implemented a sanitation and hygiene project at Killi Khan Ahmad Jan in UC 61, Kuchlak, Quetta. This initiative focuses on enhancing sanitation facilities and promoting hygiene practices among host and refugee communities.
This project was designed to address critical sanitation and hygiene challenges in Killi Khan Ahmad Jan. With a budget of PKR 12 Million, SOCIO Pakistan, supported by GIZ/RAHA, constructed a 5,000 Rft sewerage line and built 75 PFL latrines. In addition, the project provided 75 water tanks and conducted extensive hygiene education through training sessions. The initiative not only improves sanitation infrastructure but also empowers the community to maintain these improvements independently.
